Ace new album from Peder Mannerfelt who has produced Fever Ray and is also half of duo Roll The Dice alongside Malcolm Pardon. But there’s no real need for name dropping when it comes to this fellows music - he’s proved time again with records on Numbers, Digitalis, Hinge Finger, Stockholm LTD, Avian and now mostly releasing on his own label that he’s an artist that can firmly stand on his own two feet.

‘Daily Routine’ is a record that perfectly encapsulates the varying facets of raving and nightlife culture - the ecstasy, euphoria, the perils of the excess, and how it can all be both profound and absurd in the cold light of day upon reflection during the daily routine of domestic life. Some killer cone crushing tracks on here, plus he’s taught his kids the value of art and the dignity of labour in having them help in creating each unique hand painted, individually numbered insert print. There's a really appealing sense of humour running through this record - the moods traversing dark and light and some very well utilized dialogue samples. A really tough one to nail down this - it’s neither techno, house, bass music, ambient, IDM or whatever you wanna call it. A real melting pot of familiar and vibrant new sounds. A cracker!
