It took Trimdon Grange Explosion seven years to get from dropping their debut single (2010) to their debut LP (2017). Originally released by Borley Rectory, the group’s eponymous full-length now gets a go on Cardinal Fuzz (Mt. Mountain, The Band Whose Name Is A Symbol). The band’s fusion of Lou Reed-ish garage rock, British folk modes and the occasional whiff of ‘90’s indie makes for a pleasingly novel sound.
