A crucial music concrete excavation from Black Truffle (John Duncan, Will Guthrie) here. Originally released in 1991, Il Museo Selvatico is a collection of electro-acoustic odds and sods that Massimo Toniutti recorded at home in the latter years of the ‘80s. These are eerie, amorphous works that flit between glassy drones and sections of faux-naif sound exploration. It’s reminiscent of Nurse With Wound or Radiante Pourpre.
