The retro synth scene has always been about misremembering the past, whether intentionally or not. Things never were as we think they were. D.A.L.I. are fully aware of this, and on When Haro Met Sally they imagine a soundtrack to the idealised 80s American childhood that English kids wish they'd had.

i class myself as a fortunate 80's kid when it came to both bmx and music.
this is the lost soundtrack of the era, deep electronic synth mixed over an 808 beat that catapults you into a gone by summer.
added with the day glo colours of insects contempory pallet and boom, this works wonders graphically as well.
track 6 eases me into a specific date, i'm sure when it drops on all ears, you will all pick out a moment in time that suits you,
combine this with the weather at the moment and 35 years ago is happening all over again.
can't wait for more of the same please.
