Yup Stereophonics actually have a re-issue of their 'best of' out. In another blow for our credibility we have it in stock. Features all your sandpaper-voiced favourites including 'Have a Nice Day', 'Maybe Tomorrow' and the other one. In its own way this is as anti music as John Zorn.

5/10 Tom Customer review, 25th May 2018
Just look at the Stereophonics on the cover of Decade In The Sun, swaggering through what looks like a desert landscape. It says a lot about frontman Kelly Jones, the small town boy dreaming of a life far removed from his humdrum Welsh valley upbringing.
To his credit, Kelly Jones made it happen and the Stereophonics were (and to some extent remain) a popular band who found a good amount of success thanks to his songs. That 13 of the 20 tracks on this best of come from the first three albums is fitting because they were the best records the band ever made, although interestingly their best album (debut Word Gets Around) is the least represented here with only three tracks making the cut. They've made some decent rock songs and some utter shite so I guess an average score is about right.
