What happens when you combine the gritty desert grooves of Tuareg music with the structures and sounds of IDM? Riccardo Schirò wanted to find out, and so he has put together Dunas, which uses a partially Tuareg-derived sample palette to make six sleek, just about club-suitable tracks. Lovely stuff, on Schirò’s own Gravity Graffiti label. Fans of Richard H. Kirk's 90's IDM style output should give this a spin.
