Mirage is another record to be excavated from the ruins of 1970s Italian library music. Francesco Cicci Santucci composed the music here, performing it alongside Enzo Scoppa (someone you may know better as SCOEN), and only 100 copies of the record were pressed upon its release in 1971. The tracks within are a wacky mutation of American jazz, funk and soul styles similar to Santucci and Scoppa’s contemporaries Goblin.
