‘Day Without Yesterday’/Six O Six’ originally dropped in early 2016, when Peggy Gou was just a budding DJ who blew a lot of cash at Phonica Records. Fast forward two years and the Korean producer is one of the most hotly-tipped talents in the clubsphere. Makes sense, then, that Phonica should repress her first outing on their white label series, a run which has also dropped music by Midland and Lo Shea. The two tracks here are friendly, slightly grainy-sounding house that will appeal to those of a Rhythm Section/Magicwire disposition.
