Mancunian 7” label Box Bedroom Rebels (Shy Boys, Horse Beach) drop this new EP from Spanish indie-pop quarter Terry Vs. Tori. The six tracks here are nice and sprightly, with their keyboards and jangly guitar melodies recalling pretty much every band that formed in the wake of Lost In Translation. It’s also a beautifully curated release that comes adorned with confetti, photo slides and other trinkets.

Remarkably Box bedroom Rebels do it again? Where do they keep finding these gems?  The Spanish group Terri vs Tori play a lovely brand of indie pop that sounds something like Soccer Mommy being backed by Real Estate.  Lovely summery guitar melodies with all those C86 inflections plus those plangent lead guitar runs we know from such bands as Hoops and Beach Fossils ....and .....and you are waiting for this labelmates Horsebeach.  Despite being Spanish where there's presumably lots of sun, 'Dream Wild' in particular sounds as evocative as a drizzly day in Darwen.

Lovely stuff and comes with all the extras you expect from Box Bedroom Rebels  - bits of paper, trinkets etc.
