It’s a brilliantly freaky record of mutant goofball WTF electronix with a demented, somewhat unhinged approach akin to Shit & Shine. I can imagine this coming out on a label like Hundebiss but it’s actually on Athens label Untitled-1. It opens with the booming bass and sizzling hi-hats of ‘Money Over Glitches’ complete with warped, melting pads and pitched down vocal samples. Kinda reminds me of Expressway Yo-Yo Dieting. Then onto the absurd, deranged ‘Big Troubles’ which squelches along with a springing groove and all manner of peculiar bubbling and gurgling. It’s something like being stuck inside an episode of Spongebob Squarepants while tripping balls on acid. ‘Dial A Disco (Part I & II)’ is a frenzy of galloping, looping polyrhythms and bizarre sample collage - a total headwrecker. ‘Chica's Palindromes’ is the records most zoned moment. Its something like gently floating and bouncing around in a metal chamber in zero gravity with some drums, an alien and a cat leaving infinite dubby permutations as they rebound from the walls. ‘Tropical Tape Transit (Part I & II)’ closes the record in fine style, coming off like some lysergic hip-hop/dub hybrid before mutating into a creepy techno thing.

This record is great fun, with a measured sense of humour at play at times. There are lots of strange sounds floating in and out of the tracks that give it a really trippy, hallucinatory vibe. You should definitely check it out.
