Belgium’s Stroom.tv (Sonoko, DJ Bert & Engle) front a previously-unreleased soundtrack LP from Walter Verdin. Best known for his work in Belgian wave group Pas de deux, Verdin composed this music for Theater De Kreet’s 1981 musical Adeline. There’s very little of the traditional musical theatre sound though. Post-punk, synthwave, Italo-Disco and more bring to bare here. Some of it sounds like Grace Jones meeting Bauhaus. "Een Fantastisch Nieuw Muziektheater" indeed.
