Sydney Pollack’s 1975 thriller Three Days Of The Condor, a tale of murder, espionage and intrigue, comes with a very fine soundtrack by Dave Grusin, a jazz pianist. As well as plenty of jazz flavours, the soundtrack suite dabbles in exactly the kind of soul and funk you want in a spy film. Now available on vinyl again for the first time since 1975!

8/10 Jack Customer review, 31st January 2018

Released on Capitol Records, the score was the entire work of jazz pianist Dave Grusin. The mostly instrumental soundtrack has its moments where it sounds like anything but the score to a political thriller, and other times it sounds not too far removed from what Grusin would continue to do later on in his career. The music has all the elements to put you right in the mood and the feeling of the movie and it has that great deep 70's funky groove. This soundtrack is worth having in one's collection.
