Jitwam’s 'िज़तम िसहँ' (self-titled) LP is as multi-faceted as the composer himself. Born in India, based in Brooklyn and having lived in New Zealand, South Africa and plenty of places in between, the music here funnels Jitwam’s storied life into an LP that recalls the oddball pop sounds of Mo Kolours and Connan Mockasin.

YES! I'm so happy that Norman Records are getting some copies of this - it's bloody amazing. After being hyped by the likes of Moodymann and releasing my favourite EP of 2017, club-friendly "whereyouwannago?", Mr. Wam comes back with a much more self-disciplined and "Bandy™" LP, which just so happens to be really good. It's very clear to spot the multi-cultural influences and it really comes together to created balanced yet rounded record. To go from club bangers to this only shows us how much of a talented chap Jitwam is, and I'm very much looking forward to hearing more from him in the imminent future.
I also recommended this to a cute girl I met and after a few weeks she went out of her way to contact me to thank me for doing so. Win.
