The former Velvet Underground icon (her name is even an anagram of that) recorded this session for John Peel’s Top Gear show in 1971. Featuring four tracks from her John Cale-produced, harmonium-driven albums The Marble Index, Desertshore and The End, it was previously released on specialist Peel Sessions outlet Strange Fruit, but has been out of print for decades. All-analogue valve-mastered pressing.
