The night never ends in the murky Mannequin Records basement, and Alessandro Adriani is more than happy with his perpetual residency in the dark room, twisting out throbbing monosynth basslines and jacking rhythms for the chains and leather brigade. Across all three tracks on this new 12” the mood stays intense and sleazy, peaking with the noirish closer “You Never Sleep”.

Tougher than your Dad’s Viagra-fuelled boner, EBM nailers from Mannequin bossman Alessandro Adriani (Jealous God, Pinkman, Stroboscopic Artefacts etc.) This cranky hand-stamped EP was initially available in limited quantities during the Amsterdam Dance Event at Rush Hour Store, and now (thank fuck) they’re dishing out remaining copies into wider circulation. The three cuts present were originally only available on cassette only compilations and have been remastered for wax by that man Rude66. The pure narcotic sleaze and endless, searching acid groove of ‘A Man Who Would Come Here Of His Own Free Will’ makes me wanna sniff a litre of poppers and make my brain explode right outta my cranium. ‘He Is Everything And Nothing’ gets trippier and more jackin’ with hallucinatory voices, while ‘You Never Sleep’ manages to sound both nasty and ethereal. All three cuts should 100% guarantee dancefloor debauchery.
