The drum machine synth pop is just as crisp as ever, though the live setting is also very much there with audience interaction intact. 7/10 Jack Customer review, 28th November 2017

Although I won't play this one to show off the stereo to my friends, I will continue to enjoy the music - it's fun to listen to and I do get the sensation that I'm there with them. It's recorded using the direct to disc method for a clean and simple hi-fi signal path. There is a lot of audible noise, especially between tracks, and the mix really lacks clarity and balance. Overall this sounds more like a bootleg than a proper live album, but it's still worth it if you're a serious Shins fan, especially since it doesn't seem to be available in any other format.
