Chris Thompson originally released his acid-tinged self-titled debut album in 1973 after moving to London from his native New Zealand. In the late sixties he cut his folk teeth playing with Californian folkie Julie Felix. His time in the UK brought him sessions with Wizz Jones and Davy Graham. His album is highly regarded in folk circles and fans of Bert Jansch, John Renbourn and Jackson C. Frank should definitely give it a spin. Korean import LP, Blue Marble or Black vinyl.
