Dorset doom metalers Electric Wizard released their last album, Time To Die, amid contractual wranglings with their label. It was a tough time for the band. Three years later and the way is clear for them to do what they do best. Wizard Bloody Wizard is their Black Sabbath-referencing ninth album, and sees the band rocking just as hard but freed from previous shackles.

7/10 Jack Customer review, 28th November 2017
I'm a huge Electric Wizard fan. I have heard all their albums. Whenever I hear that there's a new Electric Wizard album coming out I get excited. So was the case when I saw this new release. This record has more in common with Wino and the Obsessed/St. Vitus than the slow, steady doom that Electric Wizard have mined in the past. This record’s dna has more in common with “black masses” than “time to die”. It’s certainly a grower. Favourite track so far is “Hear the sirens scream.” I’m finding more to like with each listen.
