Danish psych rock stoners, Causa Sui are rounding off their sort-of-trilogy of albums with a mini album, Vibraciones Doradas, Spanish for Golden Vibrations. It follows on from 2013’s Euporie Tide and 2016’s Return To The Sky. Their influences range from fusion-era Miles Davis, Krautrock groups such as Can and Popol Vuh, the dusty blues rock of The Allman Brothers and Aussie psych rockers Tame Impala. Available on mint green coloured vinyl LP and CD.

Causa Sui regard their latest effort as a ‘mini-LP’, but these five instrumental stoner/doom epics they makes up 'Vibraciones Doradas' is far from ‘mini’. It is weighty and forceful, yet peaceful and thoughtful at the same time. On the opening track ”The Drop” the band drives a thick John Bonham-esque groove into freeform cosmic ecstasy before drifting into a calming blend of shoegazey guitars and synths. Curiously, the album is divided in two by the layered ambience of "Viborera" sat right in the middle, and the closing title track could best be described as sounding like the perfect mixture of Sonic Youth and Black Sabbath. 'Vibraciones Doradas' shows Causa Sui continuing to build upon their musical journey, as they are easily able to go through not only genres, but also styles, vibes, and moods seamlessly.
