Stephen King’s classic horror novel It has been re-made into a film once again, allowing a whole new generation to feel that fear. But what music can you use to accompany the exploits of a murderous scary clown? Benjamin Wallfisch knows what: a high drama mixture of creeping melodies and explosive passages of synths and strings and sound effects. Double LP OST release on Watertower.
8/10 Jack Customer review, 9th March 2018
I discovered composer Benjamin Wallfisch from "A Cure For Wellness". I was very impressed, so when I heard he was composing "IT", I was very excited. I was not disappointed. Several tracks are amazing, and they help complete some of the insane scenes in the movie. The only gripe I have about the composer is his habit of using cues of girls or kids singing laa laa laa laa, as he did in ACFW. In this case the movie is about kids, so it serves a purpose here. Benjamin Wallfisch creates a beautiful, eerie atmosphere.
