Add Violence is a definite improvement over his last EP (which was mostly distorted, distant soundscapes with his voice buried deep beneath the surface most times). But still, as a long time fan, please bring back more of the faster pacing songs and tremendous vocal energy NIN used to offer its fans. Trent Reznor of NIN still has a lot of great ideas brewing inside his mind, as hinted at here in these medium to slower paced, sometimes droning songs, but with the recent years, he's lost most of the angst and anger that gave his music such drive and energy.
