Organised in Bury in the late 1970s, the Deeply Vale festivals were the sort of popular musical gathering that people of a certain age use as leverage to say that all subsequent culture was crap. Sometimes those people get together to relive the good old days, just as they did for a Deeply Vale 40th anniversary event in 2016. This DVD/book/thing chronicles to the minutest detail what all those ageing hippies got up to that weekend. It contains twelve hours of material, from a reunion set from Gong to interviews with paid-up members of the Deeply Vale fanclub like Graham Massey from 808 State. Tubular, man.
