8/10 Clinton Staff review, 12 October 2017

This is the second full length album from Angele David-Guillou following albums as Klima and as a member of Piano Magic. Right from the get go it's a heart stopping series of prime neo-classical compositions that dig deep into the work of the likes of Philip Glass and Michael Nyman but introduce a string laden warmth which combines effortlessly with the jittering arpeggio'd piano and woodwind.

It's not all repetitive rhythms though  -'Exocet' calms proceedings down as some exceedingly gallic piano plays out the sort of slow haunting melody that can be found on many a Matt Elliott album.  I'm happier though when she lets some sun through the drapes on 'Vraisemblance' with the gorgeous repetitive back and forth of the strings which ebb and flow taking in delicious cello parts. Utterly gorgeous music that is ripe for being picked off for a soundtrack. If you've ever swooned to Yann Tiersen's 'Amerie' or Max Richter's 'Blue Notebook' this is the perfect sunday listening. All you need is a drawing room that smells of wood. Beautiful.
