Baio, aka Chris Baio of Vampire Weekend, presents his second solo album, which, from its sleeve art presentation to its songwriting and production, dives straight into the shiny-sheened aesthetics of the 1980’s. Baio is obviously having fun here, with bright and lovely melodies backed up with pastel-coloured keyboards, guitar licks and multi-tracked vocals. Out on Glassnote.

8/10 Jack Customer review, 13th February 2018
The second Baio album is a bit different than the first, which I also enjoyed. This one is more dark in ways, a more reflective view upon life translated via music and lyrics, during a kind of dark time, with the current political environment all around the globe. The first five tracks are fantastic, and hints of the last album in style and danceability, along with fun, are present throughout the entire project. He really captures an 80's and European sound on this album, and his music always leaves me wanting more.
