Seahawks, the new-agey tropical nu-kosmische project of Jon Tye and Pete Fowler, spin two tracks off of their Escape Hatch album and give them remixes, from Len Leise, Marius Circus and Nick Mackory. Everything sounds bright, sparkly and calmly groovy, like some digital beach of your dreams. Mini-LP release on Ocean Moon.

Smooth sailing with the Seahawks again, this is music to watch sunsets by. Kicking off, or rather being set adrift with the wondrous ‘Valparaiso’, you are joined with Ed Macfarlane of Friendly Fires with a gentle, but enveloping track that sounds like lounging on a lilo on a Mediterranean beach feels. Nick Mackrory turns in a cosmic variation for horizontal dancing.
Whilst I love the lilting and lazy Seahawks vibe, my favourite track on this record is the Marius Circus remix of 'Visitors', a lovely not tempo deep house tempo with a gentle acid pulse.
On the b-side ‘Starways’ is an extended cosmic odyssey that takes you on a journey across oceans and to the stars and back.
Finally Len Leise turns in a sun drenched remix of 'Starways' that makes you yearn to be somewhere exotic.
