French synthesist Didier Bocquet's sound draws inspiration from the works of German artists like Klaus Schulze. This, Voyage Cerebral, Bocquet's follow up to debut Eclipse, maintains that interplanetary trajectory of Berlins Kosmiche pioneers. Sometimes violent, always cosmic Boquet's sequenced electronic music retains still a uniquely French take on the do it yourself synth style. navigating as it does a course through Pink Floyd progness, Atari invaders and strains of Andromeda soundtrack. The reissue on Wah Wah Supersonic Sounds effectively illustrates the historic topographic transition of minimalist soundscapes from the late 70's into the early 80's.
