Some albums leave you rooted amongst your sorry 21st century societal surroundings, others take you away to an alien postmodern environment; When It's Time To Let Go often does the latter. The sprawling and ocean-deep electronic landscapes of one-man-wonder Lo Five are as hazed as they are beautiful.

8/10 Jamie Staff review, 13 April 2017
Hey, I’ve already heard this CD on the office stereo and it was kinda nice. Lo Five is this guy (Neil Grant) who has made an album of hazy, summery landscape electronica filled with crackling synths, shimmering pulses, watery chimes and the occasional 4/4 beat. Grainy atmospherics summon up nostalgic imagery of childhood holidays in the English countryside. You know, when it was always sunny (or constantly drizzling if you spent a week in Cornwall in August, 1987).
This CD seems to be haunted by the ghosts of adults and children walking between windswept beaches and the shelter of their holiday park chalet. And it comes in a translucent plastic pouch with nice printed things and a leather strip to tie it with, as per all releases to date from Patterned Air. Limited to 200 copies.
