Tiphaine Belin is Tryphéme, a producer with a fresh and lively sound that is as much about the rich melodies as the drum patterns. Plus vocals too! All that means that the tracks on Online Dating present an unusually fun and human version of IDM: perhaps what the genre could have been if fewer self-serious dudes had been involved? 12” on Central Processing Unit.

8/10 Clinton Staff review, 26 January 2017
'Online Dating' we've all tried it - often leading to absolutely horrifying consequences. These days I'd prefer to sit at home and listen to some electronica than faking interest in an appallingly written profile just on the off chance that it could lead to a sequence of events culminating in the chance that I may have sex again one day. Sad but less chance of acute embarrassment.
Feeling rubbish about yourself too? Then perhaps you could do worse than listen to this uplifting electronica from the ever reliable CPU people. The first track is absolutely super with some enthusiastic voice sampling stapled on top of four absolutely brilliant chords while things skitter underneath.
Also using voices to good effect is the more downbeat 'Idem' which has plenty of Plaid-ish electronic squiggles to keep you entertained whilst 'Melo-Dramatique' has the kind of compressed acidic flourish that could keep fans of the 'Analord' series happy for a bit. To close soft warm 'classic era' electronica that perhaps brings to mind Bitstream at their most melodic.
As with a lot of these CPU releases there's one utter stonker and three that are merely very good. Much more action than you normally get and the use of voices throughout provides a much needed human/robotic element to these warm otherworldly sounds.
