The records of the great David Bowie live on, with several of reissues on Parlophone. 1976’s Station To Station is an entirely crucial piece of the Bowie canon, combining the funky soul he’d just be exploring with the German experimentalism he was about to dive headlong into. The ‘Thin White Duke’ returns on CD and 180g vinyl LP.

Station to Station is one of the best albums of all time, in my opinion. It was the album that made me a huge David Bowie fan, and it's never lost an iota of its hold on me all these years later. The songs can be upbeat but emotional, open yet often sinister. There always seems to be something bubbling under the surface, giving the songs a power that was at times lacking on an album like Young Americans. If you're new to David Bowie, this album is essential to understand the transition from Ziggy Stardust to an absolutely different artist. If you're already a Bowie fan, I think this album is a must have to understand the musical complexity and genius of his art.
