A brace of some of Frank Zappa’s many (many) albums are receiving heavyweight vinyl reissues from Universal. Joe’s Garage - Acts 1, 2 & 3 is his 1979 rock opera about (among other things) music being made illegal. Needless to say, it is a grandly absurd undertaking, full of scatological comedy and hard-rock-jazz-fusion. Triple vinyl reissue.

9/10 Jack Customer review, 8th December 2016

Zappa is and always will be one of the immortal greats of half a dozen genres, even if he never had a major "hit" song. The question for any music lover (or intellectual anarchist) should not be "whether" to engage in his music, but "where to start." This is a daunting problem for any serious audiophile considering there are so so many. Zappa's works range from folk, to basic rock, to pre-punk, to hard, to progressive, to fusion etc. So if any of my words are appealing, then Joe's Garage is as good an entry point as any.
