Solange Knowles’ A Seat at the Table is one not to sleep on for any fans of neo-soul, funk and R&B. Directing an all-star ensemble of contributors including Raphael Saadiq and Sampha, Solange truly realises her vision of an album that explores black womanhood through a self-directed, empowering and contemporary lens.

9/10 Customer review, 8th December 2016

I have always appreciated Solange for her Bohemian, funk sophisticated, Denise Huxtable style of dress and music. I just can't say enough superlatives about this album and this artist. She really nailed this album and deserves any and all accolades that come as a result of its release to the masses. This is an amazing album from start to finish and I really appreciate the thought, depth and realness that was put into this project. The interludes are raw and unfiltered. The features are just enough, but not overpowering of her vocals and message.
