You Gotta Go There To Come Back was the fourth album by Welsh indie-rockers Stereophonics. It was released in 2003 and like the three albums that preceded it, it hit number one in the album charts. It contains one of their biggest hits Maybe Tomorrow which was used on the Oscar winning film Crash. The album is also notable for being the last one they recorded with original drummer Stuart Cable.
8/10 Jack Customer review, 8th December 2016
Well structured and melodic pieces is what you get here. Although it's their fourth studio album, this just happened to be the first one that I scooped up. I was prompted to buy this because of how much I loved the track "Maybe Tomorrow", which I had discovered on the Wicker Park soundtrack. Although it's not my favourite Stereophonics album, it is excellently produced and shows them going in some new directions, that lead up to some of the experimental sounds that can be heard on Language, Sex, Violence, Other?
