Tigercub is a hard-hitting grunge outfit from Brighton. After teasing with three 2016 single releases, Abstract Figures In The Dark is the trio's promising debut LP, which is packed full of fuzzy riffs, relentless drums and poppy hits. Much of the record's impact lies in the well-executed recording and production, which gives a raw, powerful, and animalistic feel to the music. Released as Vinyl LP and CD on the Alcopop label.

A fantastic first offering from Alcopop's latest offering to the UK Rock underground.
Tigercub's sound is one of those bands that despite not being able to point to another band that sounds like them and appearing unique, the music is familiar. Warm production and dynamic tracks make for a brilliant overall album and it is one of those records with a track to appeal to every mood. Their close personal relationship with fellow Brighton grungers Demob Happy is evident, both bands debut albums seemingly distant cousins in the blossoming underground UK rock scene at present. This is one to pick up now while you can and show off to your mates that 'you knew them when...'.
