Vergers finds Sarah Davachi focusing on an EMS Synthi 100, coaxing long, pure, Radigue-esque tones out from it and then garnishing them with touches of violin and vocals. Space and scale are important parts of these compositions, which the listener can all to easily be fully absorbed into. Released by Important Records.

9/10 Richard Customer review, 28th March 2017
Sarah Davachi provides us with 3 long-form drone pieces on this latest offering from the excellent Important records stable. There is a meditative quality about opener, the aptly titled 'Gentle So Gentle', which lulls the listener gently into a state of bliss during it's gorgeous 21 minute duration, slowly building up before a gentle comedown.
Side two is a little harsher but allows the listener to immerse themselves in the sharp drone of both 'Ghosts and All' & 'In Staying' which both come on like the drone offspring of Phill Niblick & Eliane Radigue, two absolute legends of the genre.
Allow yourself to sink deep into this and it is richly rewarding. One of the best drone records of the last year. Nice!
