Warrington born four-piece Man & The Echo are so named after a poem by W.B. Yeats. This is unsurprising, as their self-titled debut has poetry and lyrical philosophy to boot, all delivered in a sincere north-western accent. Warmly reminiscent of some of the earlier pioneers of the genre (think Pulp/The Smiths), Man & The Echo is 11 tracks of down-to-earth, catchy and charming indie-pop. Released as Vinyl LP and CD on 1965 records.
