Sheffield has housed many electronic music pioneers, of which Richard H. Kirk was one of the greatest. Alongside his work with Cabaret Voltaire he was producing his own solo works long before, during and after. This collection precedes the group, with a massive 8 CDs of solo dance experiments. Includes his first four albums remastered, and an album of completely unreleased tracks.

This must be everything Richard H Kirk released under this name as there are a total of 8 CDs here. All with that glorious Cabs flavour. Time High Fiction being only one of two records here I was familiar with, stands out for me (of course). No doubt, there is some repetition here, but there are enough gems to make this worth it. I can't speak for the recording quality on the physical thing but it sounds good on other platforms. This collection rates highly for me in how thorough it is. Recommended.
