A 180g double vinyl LP reissue of Tori Amos' classic 1996 album, Boys For Pele. On her third full length studio release, classically trained solo artist Tori Amos injects her introspective songwriting into an experimental yet accessible alternative/baroque-pop format, with lyrical themes including feminism, religion and relationships.
8/10 Jack Customer review, 3rd February 2018
After parting with her boyfriend and producer Eric Rosse, Tori was left alone and vulnerable. The overbearing presence of men in her life forced her to change her approach to music, and ultimately, to transform as a musician. This is Amos' debut as a producer and where she created her most confident work to date. Tori reached new heights with Boys for Pele and experimented with different tactics for the first time in her career. It's by far Tori's most diverse album, and definitely worth your time.
