Mass Datura hereby reveal their first ever physical release, the single Feel Me Human (with previous digital-only single Dream Thief installed on the B-side). Tuneful indie songcraft with the unexpected presence of pedal steel and Mellotron in the mix as well. 7” released by All Types Of Slime Recordings.

I like it when I hear music that I don't understand. London, England's Mass Datura meddle with prog pop and electronica yet employ that underused of instruments the pedal steel guitar. 'Feel Me Human' proves that they can write pretty sweet and lush choruses if they feel like but also that they wander into proggy cul-de-sacs where the twiddly guitar is king. A cross between lush pop and manic prog which could feel at home on a '75 edition of Old Grey Whistle Test.
Overleaf the same weird juxtaposition between wandering new wave pop that recalls such 70s oddballs as Deaf School and early Genesis like structures that are almost impossible to comprehend.
Fans of the Chap, the Cardiacs, Field Music and Van Der Graaf Generator take note.
