Recorded at the infamous Spahn Ranch during the LaBianca murder trial in 1970, the “family” play and sing Charles Manson’s songs (Manson himself is not on the recording). The downright tweeness of it is fitting with the insanity that surrounds it, and with the odd lyric here and there that refers to murder and crosses on foreheads it’s certainly an unsettling listen and makes you wonder whether we really should be stocking this.
