Straight from the off, Huren doesn’t do slow builds for Clan Destine’s short release cassettes, he goes in with both hands. This is strobe light filled, pitch black basement, sweat on the walls and floor, cages on the DJ booth, latex shorts wearing stuff. Industrialised techno to the Nth degree. Limited to 50 copies.

8/10 Ant Staff review, 27 October 2016

Punishing tape of pulverising electronics from Dave Foster, whom I will forever hold in high regard for his role in creating one of my all-time fave techno trax ‘The Wipe’ as part of Teste back in 1992 - released on Richie Hawtin’s Plus 8 label. Like much of his productions on Zhark ‘Change Room Violation$’ lays the distortion on thick, with a sound palette at the intersection of techno, industrial, noise/power electronics and even some post-punk/funk on opening tune ‘BURNED EXCEPT $HAD0W$’. These tracks are pitch black - a fine mix of intense slammers and freaky nightmarish soundscapes. If you dug the O/H collaboration with Orphx Rich Oddie on Opal Tapes then give this mother a blast.
