Bringing together members of Phenomenal Handclap Band, Favored Nations, and Dungen by means of an impromptu kitchen jam session Drakkar Nowhere produce proggy and jazzy tinged soul tracks straight from a psychedelic past. Space organs and lazy walking bass lines, timeless pieces where the journey is the destination.

8/10 Greg B. Customer review, 3rd February 2017

This record as mysterious as the wonders of Stonehenge (that features on the album cover). Drakkar Nowhere’s self-titled debut on Beyond Beyond Is Beyond Records weaves together a variety of genres, such as psychedelic rock, prog rock, funk, soul and electronica to create an album that not only surprises you, but also soothes you at the same time. It’s a finely-textured album that can also be quite cosmic and trippy at times, but is also very well-accomplished and it bodes well for their future.
