There's been some online speculation that this could be a secret project of Aphex Twin  - we're not saying either way. Save to say that this does indeed sound like lord Richard James in junglist mode but also brings to mind you '90s favourites such as Plug or Squarepusher. Just drop the needle on the record and as Keith Vaz would say  - let's get this party started.

9/10 Ant Staff review, 07 September 2016

We scored a killer package from Robbie Martin’s (aka Fluorescent Grey) always on point Record Label Records. There’s tapes from OtRoM, Identity Theft aka Michael Buchanan of Nommo Ogo plus a 4DVD box set of Robbie’s ‘A Very Heavy Agenda’ documentary - which looks mind blowing!

We also scored a stack of mystery artist Heorge Garrison’s ‘Shortridge’ EP. A 12” DJ Weapon loaded with 5-cuts of intricate dancefloor slaying modern Jungle. Apparently there’s been some online speculation that this is the work of Richard D. James and it’s not difficult to hear why. This has it's own thing going for it but for the general vibe, think Aphex Twin in junglist mode, olde Squarepusher, Steinvord, Wisp, Venetian Snares, Soundmurderer, Luke Vibert working as Plug / Amen Andrews etc. These tunes are riddled with warped, mutant funk, laced with smatterings of slippery acid, chill ghostly breakdowns, squirming synths and hyper/ ADD serpentine amen’s that explode and scatter.

Kinda feels like I’ve just discovered some old dusty, funky as hell, Braindance Drum & Bass, unreleased Rephlex test pressing in a reverse time capsule. This record is pure party fuel - just drop the needle on any cut and blow up the dancefloor.
