Lady, Give Me Your Key: The Unissued 1967 Solo Acoustic Sessions by Tim Buckley

8/10 Jack 7th June 2017

If you're familiar with the Goodbye And Hello album you now get to hear a number of those songs in a slightly different stripped down style. Taken from relatively low-fi tape recordings and a rare acetate from a studio session, these performances are nonetheless exciting to hear for Buckley fans. The sound is actually pretty decent with a slightly flat sound, but Buckley's warm voice is in fine form and his guitar playing balanced nicely with his voice. If you're a fan of Buckley's early stuff, this will be a worthwhile addition.
