Ancestral Voices (aka Akkord’s Liam Blackburn) ayahuasca trip inspired ambient techno album ‘Night of Visions’ on Samuari Horo has already had the remix treatment from ASC and Abdulla Rashim. Now Pact Infernal and Samuel Kerridge (Downwards/ Contort) step up.

Kerridge goes first with his heavy mix sounding like it’s being sucked backwards and forwards between the 4th dimension/ spirit world and this reality. A sluggish heavy stomp provides the skeleton of a rattling unstable rhythm while the shards of rusty electronic sounds are hoovered up into a vortex then spat back out.

Pact Infernal go next, with their mix sounding like a very dark night in the Amazon with huge cinematic, darkside sound design and occasional tribal drum working as an anchor. Music to play in the dark.
