Who doesn't think about escaping from the city from time to time? Well the folks from Dead Light escaped from stinking old London to some rural backwater where they have been free to explore their billowing ambient compositions. They've used treated tape, prepared pianos and all manner of experimental tomfoolery to create these pieces.

8/10 Effie the cat Customer review, 31st March 2017
For me, Anna Rose Carter is an exceptional pianist. Her compositions effortlessly move from soothing to melancholy in a manner reminiscent of systems/layers by Rachel's. She is capable of moments of music that take you to somewhere else.
If you have already heard her work on moon ate the dark, you already know this. In that case this album is probably a solid seven for you. If you haven't heard that and are new to her piano then I would guess this would be a nine or a ten.
The point either way is that she is the kind of pianist that shows emotion over showing off -- but it still matters greatly who she collaborates with.
