Released in the same year as Tonight’s The Night, Zuma was more of a straightforward (but still a classic) Neil Young & Crazy Horse album. It features the live favourite Cortez The Killer and Don’t Cry No Tears which has been covered by Teenage Fanclub. There’s also an appearance from his old pals Crosby, Stills and Nash.

9/10 Stephen Customer review, 5th August 2016
"Zuma" is fairly typical of the albums Neil Young recorded with Crazy Horse. Firstly, it's magnificent, secondly it mixes shorter, punchy melodic songs such as "Don't Cry No Tears" and "Barstool Blues" with sweeping epics such as "Danger Bird" and "Cortez The Killer" and overdriven rock songs like "Drive Back". The more uptempo songs on here feel cathartic in that it's the first album recorded with a reformed Crazy Horse since the death of guitarist Danny Whitten, whilst the fantastic guitar work on "Danger Bird" and "Cortez The Killer" suggest the melancholic feeling from previous albums "On The Beach" and "Tonight's The Night" is still very much a driving force. Very good indeed.
