There’s nothing more I can say about Mr James Brown. Simply a true legend, Brown’s influence knows no borders, with his distinctive vocal style and soulful funk forming the sound of bands all over Africa, South America, Europe and beyond. It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World was Brown’s 16th studio album from 1966 and is now reissued.

9/10 Jack Customer review, 11th July 2016
James Brown was a mind-blowing performer, almost like an enterprise designed to leave all audience members gasping. I am of course in awe of his powerful delivery, his expressive voice, the lyrics and the arrangement. In my opinion, this is James Brown at his soulful very best, before he went to funk and made "every instrument a drum." "Please, Please, Please" and "Try Me" are also favourites of mine. I really love this James Brown album and no doubt it will remain a classic for generations to come.
