This is the Sisters of Mercy's weakest album, but it is still an amazing one that has withstood the test of time and definitely earns a deluxe reissue. It has a heavy sound which keeps you on edge and excited, and just sounds... well, cool. This is surely a testament to their flexibility and how they can be updated as with the music scene itself. Lovers of the album will say it takes time to grow on you; I found this to be true, but that's only evidence of a carefully crafted work. Some people downright dismiss it.
