If you’d put Angelo Badalamenti’s soundtrack to Twin Peaks through a synthesizer and throw in a heavy 80s drum computer, you’d get something like Street Force by Repeated Viewing. This album, best understood as the soundtrack to a fictional 80s vigilante grindhouse flick, is packed with tense arpeggiators and classic old school synths, creating an atmosphere that is not unlike my grandmother: both nostalgic and paranoid.
