Life With Pictures have spent the last ten years or so honing their intelligent pop chops, combining acoustic and electronic sounds. Afterlife is the third album, but first in five years, by the orchestral pop combo. Themes of ending, death and renewal weave through the album, which in many ways reflects the journey the band have been on. Wild Beasts, Ghostpoet and Hood producer Richard Formby was at the controls and his mastery of vintage equipment meant he was the perfect man for the job.
LP on Organ Grinder.
